News | Pointbreak Building Inaugurated by Dr Sam Nujoma
His Excellency, Dr Sam Nujoma, Founding President of the Republic of Namibia, officially inaugurated the new Pointbreak Building in Windhoek on Wednesday, 25 April 2012. Dr Nujoma also presented Pointbreak bursary holders with letters of motivation, encouraging them to apply the fruits of these studies to the benefit of Namibia and its people. The evening was well attended by many dignitaries and business leaders in Namibia.
According to Mr. Gerald Riedel, Pointbreak Executive Director: "Pointbreak was privileged to have our Founding President officially inaugurate our building and we honour his role in establishing Namibia as a peaceful and prospering country, with a thriving economy. As a Namibian financial services group of companies, it is our dream and intention to apply ourselves to the benefit of all Namibians. We are therefore proud to present Pointbreak’s new offices, designed to represent a large homestead, as a financial home to those people in Namibia in need of our services."
Pointbreak has offices in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Cape Town. It provides investment management services in the form of unit trust management, private client investment management, financial planning, trusts, wills and estates, private equity through its long-standing association with Stimulus, and short-term insurance through its subsidiary, Namsure. Pointbreak has 1800 client accounts and manages in excess of N$3 billion in assets under management.
